Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Conflict occurs when two or more individuals fail to resolve a disagreement. What may have begun as a rational difference of opinion can rapidly deteriorate when the parties take offense. Conflict is a natural feature of organisational life; in a recent CIPD survey, 85% of employees say they have to deal with conflict to some degree and 12% say that disagreements among their senior team are frequent or continual. Conflict crosses the divide between creativity and dysfunction when the people and the business cease to function effectively.
